Days of Armenian Culture start in Georgia

PanARMENIAN.Net – The May 4 gala-concert in Shota Rustaveli State Drama Theater opened the days of Armenian culture in Georgia.
During a press conference at the Georgian Ministry of Culture, Protection of Monuments and Sport, Armenian Deputy Minister of Culture Arthur Petrosyan stressed the importance of cultural cooperation and mutual visits to preserve the Armenian-Georgian cultural ties and develop effective cooperation.
On May 3, Sarajishvili State Conservatoire hosted a concert of Aram Khachaturian quartet. Meanwhile, Historical and Cultural Monuments of Armenia exhibition of Zaven Sargsyan opened at Kutateladze Arts Academy. Through Centuries-Old Friendship theatrical festival started at Petros Adamyan Theater on May 3.
On May 4, an exhibition of works by Armenian painter and designer Arevik Petrosyan opened in Grishashvili Museum of History. A memorial plaque dedicated to ninth chess champion of the world Tigran Petrosian was unveiled at Rustaveli avenue.
On May 5, the Armenian delegation headed by Arthur Petrosyan visited Khojivank pantheon of Armenian writers and public activists, as well as met with Primate of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, the press service of the RA Foreign Ministry reported.
