Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia returns Home

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II returned home from the Czech Republic last night. Numerous congregations and the highest hierarchy of the Georgian Orthodox Church met Ilia II at the Tbilisi airport.
All citizens of Georgia should take care that such a beautiful country gained its unity and peace, he said at the night service in the cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Tbilisi.
April 13, Ilia II left for the Czech Republic to pass a course of rehabilitation. Due to deteriorating health Georgian patriarch was unable to attend the World Summit of Religious Leaders in Baku.
Ilia II will visit Germany in summer for a scheduled examination because of problems with the heart.
