Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II Prays for Peace in Syria

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II led a prayer for peace in Syria at Mor Aphrem Cathedral in Aleppo.
Their Eminences Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, and Very Rev. Raban Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Delegate for the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs were also present.
Their Excellencies Maronite Bishop Joseph Tobji, Chaldean Bishop Antoine Odo and Rev. Ibrahim Nseir of the Arab Evangelical Church attended the prayer.
On the occasion of the World Peace Day, His Holiness prayed for peace in Syria and the cessation of violence and terrorism. He also prayed for the return of their Eminences the Abducted Archbishops of Aleppo Boulos Yaziji and Mor Gregorius Youhanna Ibrahim.
