UOC Primate attended charitable exhibition “Temple of Soul”

On April 8, His Beatitude Volodymyr, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine called to the National Museum of Book and Book-Printing (Kyiv-Pechersk Museum Reserve), where on these days the exhibition Temple of Soul is held.
Present at the event were also Bishop Hilary of Makariv, Secretary for the UOC Primate Bishop Alexander of Pereyaslav-Khmelntytskyy, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mykhailo Kulyniak.
Opening the exhibition, the Archpastor greeted those present on the Feast of Resurrection of Christ and wished God’s help and new creative achievements to the people of art.
“The project “Spirituality in modern art” is a really great plan and a noble deed. Accept our most sincere wishes to continue this good deed in future. May the Lord, through the prayers of His Most Holy Mother help all of us to conduct pious life and to achieve success due to the talents with which the God richly gifts every person”, said Metropolitan in particular.
Thereafter the Archpastor marked with the certificates the sponsors and creative workers who took part in the charitable project “Spirituality in modern art”.
Among those awarded were honored art worker of Ukraine, Yuriy Nahulko, Head of the Employers’ Federation of Ukraine Dmytro Oliynuk, businessman Oleh Bahmatyuk etc.
Note that the funds raised from the sale of the works of art will be spent for the construction of the Resurrection Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Kyiv.
