Holy Qurobo at Mor Yuhanon Church – Sao Paolo

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at Mor Yuhanon Church in Sao Paolo.
Their Eminences Mor Titus Boulos Touza, Syriac Orthodox Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, and Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh, Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Environs, assisted His Holiness in the Holy Qurobo.
In his sermon, His Holiness emphasized the importance to bring the young children to church where they can learn the faith and traditions of the church. They become more attached to their church and know more its history and doctrines.
His Holiness talked about the struggles of our Syriac communities in their homeland, amidst the persecutions they are witnessing. He prayed for peace in Syria and the Middle East and for the safe return of their Eminences the Archbishops of Aleppo Mor Gregorius Youhanna Ibrahim and Boulos Yaziji.
