SAINT MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR: CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER CANONIZED BY ORTHODOX CHURCH

USA: Martin Luther King Jr. is declared a saint by the unrecognized ‘Holy Christian Orthodox Church’. Declaration of  Luther’s Sainthood was announced by Archbishop Timothy Paul, who is the Patriarch of the International Communion of the Holy Christian Orthodox Church. He also serves as the President of the ‘Wolds Bishop Council’.

According to Archbishop Paul Martin Luther King was a leader and a champion who fought racial discrimination.

Holy Christian Orthodox Church is an unrecognized community that operates in the US. They are not recognized by Eastern Orthodox or Oriental Orthodox Churches.
