Catholicos of All Armenians Sends Letter of Condolence to French President

On July 15, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter of condolence to French President Francois Hollande, on the terrorist attack last night in the city of Nice.

“We strongly condemn such an inhumane crime against human life. On behalf of the Armenian Apostolic Church, we convey our sympathy and condolences to the victims and their families, to you, and to the gracious people of France,” the letter states in part.

Offering prayers for the souls of the victims, His Holiness asked God to grant comfort to the relatives of the deceased, and a rapid recovery to the injured.
