His Excellency President of Syria Dr. Bashar Al – Assad receives His Holiness and Syriac Orthodox Church Delegation
DAMASCUS: President of Syria, His Excellency Dr. Basher Al – Assad received His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Zakka-I Iwas and the Syriac Orthodox Church delegation at President’s House here on March 15, Monday. Patriarchal Vicar for Sweden, Mor Dionysius Benyamin Aktas, Patriarchal Assistant Mor Philoxenos Mathias Nayis were included in the delegation. His Excellency President emphasized on the relationship between Muslims and Christians, especially in Syria. His Excellency called for a united move towards the harmony in the society.
