An urge to help the persons affected by the severe weather conditions

In these days, when many rural communities, especially in the Southeastern part of the country, are isolated due to the blizzard and the massive snowfalls, we call on the diocesan centres, the clergy and the faithful from the parishes of the affected areas to offer support to the families and the lonely persons who have an urgent need to remove the snow from their households.
At the same time, we urge the parish priests to help the elderly, the lonely and the helpless persons, involving the parish Councils and Committees, to offer them water, tea and food so that they can overcome the difficult situations caused by severe weather conditions.
