Rev. Fr. Abgar Was Reaffirmed into the Ecclesiastical Order

By Pontifical Order of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the former spiritual servant of the Armenian Diocese of Ukraine, Levon Glchyan, was reaffirmed into the Ecclesiastical Order, as a married priest named Father Abgar.

By Pontifical Order of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the former spiritual servant of the Armenian Diocese of Ukraine, Levon Glchyan, was reaffirmed into the Ecclesiastical Order, as a married priest named Father Abgar.

The application submitted by Levon (Father Abgar) to restore his priestly rank served as the basis for the Order, as well as a letter of commendation by His Grace Bishop Markos Hovhannisyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Ukraine, and a positive conclusion of an investigation by the Disciplinary Committee of Mother See.

On December 21, during the Evening Service, and in the presence of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin, Rev. Fr. Abgar Glchyan renewed his vows in the Mother Cathedral.
