Addis Ababa– Several Reports indicate that the non-canonical government appointed Patriarch Dioskoros of Eritrean Orthodox Church passed away last day following a long illness.
Funeral will take place at Abune Abranios Monastery, Mendefera sub-zone on Saturday 26th December.
The canonical Patriarch His Holiness Abune Antonis is held under house arrest since 2007 in the capital City of Asmara. Dioskoros was not recognized by any of the Oriental or Eastern Orthodox Churches.
