Catholicos of All Armenians Visited Tumo Center for Creative Technologies
On 10 November, His Holiness Karekin Ii, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians visited the Tumo Center for
Creative Technologies. The Catholicos of All Armenians was accompanied by Mr. Sam Simonian, founder of the Tumo Center in Yerevan and the Simonian Foundation, as well Mr. Pegor Papazian, a member of Tumo’s Board of Advisors.
His Holiness was introduced to the facilities and programs of the Center. Tumo students presented their works of new games and programs to His Holiness. During the tour of the Center, His Holiness, spoke with the students and answered questions. At the conclusion of the visit, His Holiness blessed the founder of the Center, the staff and students stating his appreciation for their efforts to provide education that prepared students for today’s technology levels.
His Holiness expressed his hope that a similar center will be established at the Mother See in the future.
During His visit His Holiness was accompanied His Grace Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Director of Operations of the Mother See and His Grace Bishop Vardan Navasardyan, Director of the Christian Education Department of the Mother See.
