New Publication – Book of Sermons
Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin – November 2015
With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has published the first volume of the collection Book of Sermons (from various authors) from the Ararat Heritage series.
The book is a comprehensive collection of sermons, published in the Ararat Journal, which was the official periodical of the Mother See from 1868 to 1919, and was put together through the diligence of Ms. Hasmik Melkonyan.
It includes 143 sermons, divided into thematic groups: national-ecclesiastical, religious, and in moral character, as well as sermons about pastoral life, prayer, family and marriage, faith and sanctity.
This Book of Sermons was published by the benevolent sponsorship of the benefactor of the Mother See, Mr. Sarkis Gabrellian.
