His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II participated in the annual dinner of the Syriac League in Lebanon. His Holiness spoke about the role of the Syriac people in Lebanon, especially those who work in the public sector.
He encouraged the politicians to elect a president for Lebanon as soon as possible to rescue the country from chaos.
He also congratulated the League for their 40th anniversary for its establishment. The Syriac League presented His Holiness with a portrait painting.
