On October 11, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, accompanied by members of the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and Syriac Orthodox Church Delegation, visited the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide at Tsitsernakaberd; to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Following the placement of floral wreaths at the Memorial; a Repose of Souls service was offered at the Eternal Flame, under the Presidency of the Patriarchs of the Armenian Apostolic and Syriac Orthodox Churches, for the rest of the luminous souls of the countless Armenian and Assyrian martyrs.
Accompanied by Mr. Hayk Demoyan; Director of the Armenian Genocide Institute Museum, the Catholicos of All Armenians, and the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, were give a tour of the exhibits on display in the halls of the Armenian Genocide Museum.
