Orthodox Christians at DC March for Life

Despite unusually cold temperatures, tens of thousands participated in the 41st annual March for Life in the US capital on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Metropolitan Tikhon, Archbishop Nathaniel, Bishop Melchisedek, Bishop Michael, and Bishop Mark were present, together with students from Saint Tikhon’s Seminary and Saint Vladimir’s Seminary and numerous clergy and faithful. Later that evening, Metropolitan Tikhon delivered the benediction at the annual Rose Dinner, during which he reflected on the words of Saint Paul to his disciple Timothy.
