OCYM Abu Dhabi is organising “Gurusmarana” – Vaidikarude Vaidikan Fr. Dr. V.C Samuel Anusmaranam” – a programme in memoriam to Fr. Dr. V.C Samuel, the greatest Christologian of 20th Century on 15th November 2013 after the Divine Liturgy at St George Orthodox Cathedral, Abu Dhabi.
It is the first time a church in the middle east organizes a memorial session on the most eminent theologian, historian, philosopher of Orthodox Church from Malankara. This programme is in connection with the 15th death anniversary of this great son of Malankara. H.G Yakub Mar Ireniaos, the metropolitan to the diocese of Kochi will deliver the key note speech in a meeting that will be presided by H.G Yakub Mar Elias, the metropolitan to the Brahmavar Diocese.
