Holy Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral, Celebrated by His Beatitude Daniel on the Feast of St. Andrew, Protector of Romania

The Orthodox Church celebrates today the feast of Holy Apostle Andrew, the christener of Romania. At the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest, the Holy Liturgy was celebrated by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel. In his sermon, His Beatitude highlighted the importance of this feast for the Romanian people. He also reminded the faithful the journey undertaken by St. Andrew for the spreading of the Gospel of Christ.
At the end of the Holy Liturgy, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel consecrated the holy icon in mosaic on the facade of the Patriarchal Cathedral.
