The Holy Synod of the UOC called the fold to intensify prayers for unity of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine
In the course of the session of the Holy Synod of the UOC held on November 24, the problem of search of the ways of reunification with the Mother Church for those remaining beyond the spiritual-canonical communion with it were touched upon.

The session of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church presided over by His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine-
HEARD the information of the Administrator of the UOC, the Most Reverend Mytrofan, Archbishop of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav on the session of the working groups for preparation of the dialogue between the UOC and the UOC-KP.
Reference: In compliance with the decision of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of September 9, 2009 (Journal №45), on October 2, present year, the first session of the working groups for preparation of the dialogue between the UOC and the UOC-KP was conducted.
As a result of the joint work of the groups, the Summary Record of the session was signed. The text of the Record was published in the Orthodox newspaper (Pravoslavna Hazeta) and on the web-site of the UOC. The Records were signed by the heads of both working groups.
Given that the above meeting courted controversy and was diversely interpreted inside the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Most Reverend Mytrofan, Archbishop of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav, Administrator of the UOC issued the statement, expressing the stance of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church concerning the possibility of the dialogue and preservation of the status of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
RESOLVED:
1.To take the information into account;
2. To think it necessary to continue the search of the ways of reunification with the Mother Church for those remaining now beyond the spiritual canonical communion with it.
3. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church states that the dialogue may be possible exclusively on the condition of awareness of and strict adherence to the canonical rules of the Church organization.
4. To state categorical inadmissibility of the attempts of the forcible seizure of the parishes of the UOC by the non-canonical church structures. .
5. To call the flock of the UOC to increase the prayers for the unity of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
