Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan of Canada at the Phanar

On Saturday, February 9, 2013, a Ukrainian delegation from Canada, headed by Metropolitan Yurij of the Ukrainian Orthodox Archeparchy of Winnipeg and the Church of Canada, visited the Phanar and were received by His All-Holiness.
Among those participating in the deliberations were Metropolitans Sotirios of Toronto, John of Pergamon, Meliton of Philadelphia, Emmanuel of France, Archimandrite Bartholomew, Chief Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod, and Patriarchal Deacon Nephon as well as Bishops Hilarion of Edmonton and Andreas of Kratia. The Ukrainian delegation also visited the Holy Trinity Monastery at Halki and the Life-Giving Monastery at Baloukli.
