His Holiness Patriarch Pavle was one of the most prominent First Hierarchs of the Church of Serbia, who combined profound theological scholarship with high spirituality and ruled the Orthodox Church of Serbia with wisdom in its hard times.
May the Lord give rest to his soul in the abodes of the righteous. Memory blessed and eternal.
