Representatives of Ukrainian Orthodox Church Participated in Session of Commission for Establishment of Inter-Conciliar Presence

On June 2 at the Patriarch’s and Synodal residence at St. Daniel’s Monastery the first session of the Commission for Establishment of the Inter-Conciliar Presence was held under the presidency of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

On the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr taking part in the session on the part of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church were Archbishop Metrophanes of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav (Administrator of the UOC), Archbishop Anthony of Boryspil (Rector of the Kyiv Theological Schools), bishop Alexander of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi (Secretary for the Primate of the UOC), and chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC archimandrite Kirill (Hovorun).

Upon completion of the session the conversation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill with the representatives of the UOC was conducted, in the course of which the program of the archpastoral visit of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church to Ukraine was finally agreed upon.
