Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Caracas

The celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross began with feast day vigil service in the Russian church of Saint Nicholas in Caracas which was served by archpriest Pavle Volkov and presbyter Aleksandar Djurdjevic.
The feast day’s Liturgy was served by His Eminence Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro kyr kyr Amfilohije, who as Bishop-Administrator of the Diocese of Buenos Aires and South-Central American for the second time is in the canonical visit to Caracas and Venezuela. The Metropolitan was concelebrated by priests Pavle and Aleksandar and protodeacon Igor Balaban, and the choir of the Russian church chanted.
Father Pavle Volkov, who was born in Serbia where his father was priest and speaks Serbian fluently, presented Metropolitan Amfilohije with an icon of the Most Holy Theotokos.
