The Orthodox Church of Moldova categorically opposes legal registration of the satanist cult

The Orthodox Church of Moldova expresses concern with regard to the intention of a group of young people to register the satanist cult with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.

We consider that a destructive cult like the satanist one can under no circumstances be legalized, as it can cause severe social unrest, especially in our country, where the vast majority of the population is declared Orthodox Christian.

The Metropolis of Chisinau and All Moldova vehemently condemns this initiative, and hopes that the Ministry of Justice will not approve it, acting in line with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
