Armenian Catholicos heads to Italy

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on Tuesday went to Italy on a patriarchal visit.
During his stay, the Catholicos will meet with the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin’s benefactors, to discuss the course of the Mother See’s numerous projects which they have assumed.
And on August 10, Karekin II will pay a patriarchal visit to the Romanian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. In Suceava, he will preside over the reconsecration ceremony of the city’s Holy Mary Armenian Monastery and its 500th anniversary festivities.
