Orthodox celebration in Namibian capital
On June 2, 2012, the Paternal Saturday of the Trinity, Father Daniel Lugovoy, rector of the church of St Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and the requiem service in the church of St Mark in Windhoek, the capital city of the Republic of Namibia.
After the service, the congregation continued their fellowship at a tea party. All the worshippers were given disks with a recorded series of talks on religious education, which had been broadcast by Radio Russia under the heading ‘Religious Encyclopedia’, the website of the St. Sergius’s Church has reported.
