The Ceremony of the Elevation of the Roman Diocese to Archdiocese

The Roman Diocese has been elevated to the rank of Archdiocese, bearing the new name of Archdiocese of Roman and Bacau. The ceremony of the elevation in rank was led by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel. The event took place at the St. Paraskevi Cathedral in Roman, after the celebration of the Holy Liturgy. At the same time, Right Rev. Bishop Eftimie was elevated to the rank of Archbishop. His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel offered to Most Rev. Eftimie the regalia of the Orthodox Archbishops.
