Meeting of Polish President with representatives of different religions

On January 24, in the Presidential Palace Bronislaw Komorowski held a New Year’s meeting with the representatives of different religions. The president paid attention to the value of community, which form the followers of different religions. Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church was represented by Archbishop Jeremiasz and Metropolitan Sawa.
– The community does not have to be homogeneous. Community does not require that all participats of this community are the same, but the opposite. The good community is one that can embrace and hug, appreciate and extract what is good even from differences, from how people differ in different ways – Bronislaw Komorowski said on the meeting.
The meeting with president was attended by hierarchs of the Catholic Church, Orthodox Church, Greek Catholic Church, Jewish community representatives and followers of Islam.
