Three Chor-bishops Ordained for Syrian orthodox Church in India

MEENANGADI/KERALA/INDIA: His Beatitude Catholicos of India, Baselios Thomas I ordained senior priests of Malabar Diocese, Fr. George Manayath, Fr. Geevarghese Kizhakkekkara and Fr. Simon Maliyil as Cor Episcopus on November 16, Wednesday at St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s JSO Cathedral here. Metropolitans Mor Aphrem Mathews, Dr. Mor Athanasius Elias, Mor Irenios Paulose and Mor Philoxenos Zacharias assisted His Beatitude. Many priests and hundreds of faithful from Malabar & Kozhikode dioceses attended.
