Liturgical memory of the head of the Church of the Czech and Slovakian lands

On the occasion of 90 years since the enthronment of the Holy New Martyr Gorazd of Czech lands in the Cathedral Church in Belgrade, the Divine Liturgy was served by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch and His Beatitude Metropolitan Christopher of the Czech and Slovakian lands.
They were concelebrated by many priests of the Arcbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac, as well as monks and priests from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine and Serbia.
Metropolitan Christopher with priests, monks and pilgrims visited in the previous days sanctities throughout Serbia and in those order which Bishop Gorazd was led by God less than a century ago. At first pilgrims visited the Krusedol monastery where the New Martyr Gorazd took a monastic vow, that monasteries of Hopovo and Grgeteg where the Saint was ordained an archimandrite, and then the Cathedral church in Belgrade, where was his chirotony into the rank of Bishop of Prague by the hand of the then Serbian Patriarch Dimitrije.
The pilgrims visited also monasteries of Rakovica and Slanci, the church of St. Sava, and then went to Trsic and Soko grad in the Diocese of Sabac, so as to be on the Feast of the Cross in Szentendre and Budapest.
