CRIMEA. Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church visited Stauropegial Monastery of St. Paisius Velychkovsky near Sevastopol

On August 16, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine during archpastoral visit to the Diocese of Simferopol visited Stauropegial monastery in the name of St. Paisius Velychkovsky in Morozivka village (near Sevastopol).

His Beatitude met the monastery brethren led by Father Superior Archimandrite Gabriel (Anisimov).
In particular, in the monastery the Archpastor celebrated the rite of consecration of the cathedral church of the monastery in the name of St. Paisius Velychkovsky, and thereafter blessed the site for construction of the church in honor of the Trinity at the monastery.

Concelebrating to His Beatitude were Secretary for the Primate of the UOC Archbishop Alexander of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyy and Vyshneve and Archbishop Theodore of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod.
After the worship service Metropolitan Volodymyr addressed the monks with the words of instruction, in which he wished God’s help in labor for revival of the monastery.
