Basilica Press Centre Celebrated

At the feast of Holy Trinity, Basilica Press Centre celebrates its dedication day. On this occasion, His Grace Varlaam Ploiesteanul, Assistant Bishop to the Patriarch, celebrated a Te Deum at the Patriarchal Cathedral, assisted by a group of priests and deacons. The employees of the Press Centre and many faithful attended the religious service.
To end with the Te Deum, His Grace Varlaam Ploiesteanul read the message of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, for the feast of the Holy Trinity, the protector of Basilica Press Centre of the Romanian Patriarchate, entitled The Church And Family Media United In The Love Of The Holy Trinity.
Basilica Press Centre was inaugurated in 2007, less than a month after the enthronement of the sixth patriarch of our Church, and is made up of Trinitas Television channel, Trinitas Radio station, Basilica News Agency, “Lumina” newspaper, the weekly “Lumina de duminica” (Sunday Light), “Vestitorul Ortodoxiei” magazine (Orthodoxy Herald) and the Press Office of the Romanian Patriarchate. Each of these components is designed to serve the mission of the Romanian Orthodox Church and to convey the words of the Gospel through modern means of communication.
