Two-day event dedicated to the Patriarchate of Alexandria

Two-day conference dedicated to the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa and the Patriarchal Library of Alexandria was held from 13 to 14 and the May in Crete at Vikeleio Educational Society, under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Crete in Iraklion.
The event opened on 13 the May meeting in the Basilica of San Marco on the role played for Orthodoxy and Hellenism both Defterothroni Orthodox Church, and the ancient Patriarchate Library. His Beatitude addressed the Mayor of Heraklion Kourakis Mr. J., who, in welcoming the Patriarch in his homeland, Heraklion, recognized in him as the fighter who established historical cradle of Hellenism, Alexandria, fighting for Orthodoxy in Africa.
