Possible talks between Macedonian and Serbian Churches

The influential Orthodox Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople and the Russian Orthodox Church are intensifying action to launch talks between the Macedonian and Serbian Orthodox churches.
For decades the Macedonian church has had difficulty being accepted in the Orthodox world because of objections by the Serbian Church, which refuses to acknowledge its independent status.
