5 Years Of The Weekly “Sunday Light” Publication

Five years ago, close to the feast of Saint Pious Parascheva, the Romanians would have a new publication in their houses, stemmed from “Lumina” newspaper: “The Sunday Light”. It is a weekly publication that wanted to crown the six editions of the daily newspaper of information, opinions, reportage, documentaries, themes of reflections that the reader can read on Sunday, to have time for meditation. We propose you today a review of the five years of appearance of the “Sunday Light”, trying to evoke the most important themes dealt with in its pages, informs the “Sunday Light”, Sunday edition.
On 16 October 2005, the first issue of the “Sunday Light” publication appeared as a sequel of the editorial politics of “Lumina” newspaper and of the need to inform the readers seven days a week, with the edition opened by a documentary entitled “Meeting With The Saints At The Shrine Of Saint Parascheva”.
National publication, of 2 April 2006
During the first six months of appearance, the “Sunday Light” was distributed only in the counties of Moldova. In all this time, its web page was published too, while the requests of the readers from all over the country brought about the establishment of a system of national distribution. So, on 2 April 2006, “Sunday Light” became a publication with national audience, enjoying a permanent increase of the number of subscribers and appreciation of its readers.
