‘CILICIA’ MUSEUM RECEIVES A COLLECTION OF ANCIENT WATCHES
On 14 March 2011, His Holiness Aram I placed in the Hrant Pambakian room of the Cilicia Museum a collection of 73 watches dating from the 16th to the 19th centuries, donated by Mr. And Mrs. Hrant Pambakian. The collection also includes a well documented reference on each watch prepared by the donor.
The Catholicos also wrote to the brother of the deceased, Vazken and Vart Pambakian, appreciating the gift of their brother. At the end of the letter he blessed the memory of the deceased, and said that he prayed for the comfort of the souls of Hrant and Anahid.
