Syrian Christians for Assad

29/3/13 Metropolitan Ishak, who is an aide of the head of the Syrian Christian Church Patriarch John X, has given an interview to the Voice of Russia. His Eminence Ishak says that Syrian Christians recognize the regime of the current President Bashar al-Assad as Syria’s legitimate authority and support it. Syrian Christians are concerned that if the opposition comes to power, it may start persecution against Christians up to their total elimination.
