Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I Recovers From Covid-19

Constantinople-Turkey: Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople has recovered from Covid-19 according to a report by Daily Sabah. The 81 year old Primate has recovered from omicron variant of the Wuhan virus otherwise known as Covid-19. He was discharged form the hospital on Thursday, however will remain in isolation.

The Patriarch was infected with the virus irrespective of the two dose vaccine he received. The patriarchate thanked Health Minister Fahrettin Koca for the support provided during the hospitalization of the Patriarch.
