Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia Prays for Peace in the Middle East

Tbilisi -Georgia: His Holiness Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, and Metropolitan of Bichvinti and Tskhum-Abkhazia, has issued a heartfelt statement, joining people of goodwill worldwide in praying for peace in the Middle East on 26 October 2023. He emphasizes the ongoing daily prayers to the Holy Trinity, seeking divine intervention for peace to prevail not only in the Holy Land but also throughout the world.

Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II calls on the faithful and all those who desire peace to unite in their supplications to God. He expresses the hope that God will hear their collective prayers, bringing an end to conflict and suffering in the Middle East and offering solace and tranquility to the inhabitants of the Holy Land and people across the globe.
