Archimandrite Veniamin (Rudoy) Consecrated as Bishop of Talgar

Moscow-Russia: His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia consecrated Archimandrite Veniamin (Rudoy) as the bishop of Talgar and Vicar of the Astana Diocese on April 30, 2023, at the church of the Cathedral Church of Christ the Savior in Moscow

The consecration was attended by the Head of the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District, the Metropolitan of Astana and Kazakhstan Alexander, and other members of the Russian holy synod.

Bishop Veniamin was born on July 17, 1959, in Almaty Kazakhstan, and was elected as a bishop at the synod on March 16, 2023.
