Kyiv – Ukraine:  A group of radicals tried to attack His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry, who left the Church of Agapit of the Caves after the end of the All-Night Vigil on April 29, 2023.

The group who were waiting at the entrance to the Lower Lavra, seeing Metropolitan Onufry, rushed to him and tried to attack. They shouted: “Onufriy for an exchange!”, “Saboteurs in cassocks!”, “Shame!”. The police ran forward and managed to prevent the attack. His Beatitude was covered by subdeacons and believers.

Earlier in April, Bishop Nikita of Ivano-Frankivsk was beaten in Chernivtsi.
