Msgr. Willard G. Dionne Recommends ‘Western Rites of Syriac-Malankara Orthodox Churches’

Canada: During the commemorative Mass held on 20th September 2020 (in the memory St  Alvares Julius), Msgr. Willard G. Dionne, the Coadjutor Bishop of the Christian Catholic Church Canada, mentioned the considerable importance of the Metropolitan Alvares Julius Western Rite Orthodox Research Project and made honourable mention of the book ‘Western Rites of Syriac-Malankara Orthodox Churches (Part I and II). The Prelate earnestly recommended the Christian Catholic faithful to purchase the books (as they contain chapters on Metropolitan-Archbishop Alvares and on the Christian Catholic Church Canada).

The Feast of Met. Alvares Julius Celebrated by the Christian Catholic Church

The Christian Catholic Church is the continuation of the original Church movement initiated by Archbishop Rene Vilatte. The Church is located in Ottawa and it is a member of the International Council of Community Churches (ICC).

Since 2017, the Christian Catholic Church and the autonomous Center for Orthodox Studies (COS) of the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society collaborate in the field of Western Rite Orthodox Research.
