The book entitled Saint Prince Neagoe Basarab – Founder of Churches and Romanian Culture was launched at the Patriarchate Palace

28/9/2012 The book entitled Saint Prince Neagoe Basarab – Founder of Churches and Romanian Culture , published with the blessing of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church at the “Cuvântul vieţii” publishing house of the Metropolitanate of Muntenia and Dobrudgea, was launched within the synaxis of the abbots and abbesses of the monastic settlements of the Metropolitanate of Muntenia and Dobrudgea held today, 25 September 2012. His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel presented the book and awarded the homage diploma and medal 500 years since the enthronement of Saint Prince Neagoe Basarab as ruler of Wallachia to the 16 authors of the studies included in this book. This exceptional editorial appearance is related to the celebration of the anniversary of 500 years since the enthronement of Saint Neagoe Basarab as ruler of Wallachia, because the year 2012 was proclaimed commemorative year of the hysichast scholar prince in the Metropolitanate of Muntenia and Dobrudgea
