Russian Monastic Delegation Visited the Diocese of Samalut and the Church of the Coptic Martyrs in Libya

Samalout – Egypt: Russian monastic delegation visited the diocese of Samalut and the church of the Coptic Martyrs in Libya on 25 October 2022. The delegation was received by Anba Paphnotius of Samalout. This visit was part of their current trip to the Coptic Orthodox Church and its important tourist attractions.

The delegation also visited the Cathedral of the Martyrs of Faith and Homeland in the village of Martyrs (Al-Awar) and the monastery of the Virgin Mary in the monastery of Jabal al-Tair,

The delegation expressed their admiration for the activities and facilities they saw, which were combined with rare and important landmarks, to make together a system of creativity aimed at a comprehensive service.
