Reconciliation between the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Romanian Patriarchate

Jeruslame – Romanian Orthodox Patriarcates 23/2/12 With the blessing of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, from 20th to 21st February 2013, a delegation of the Romanian Patriarchate met in Jerusalem with a delegation of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, in order to solve the problem of the Romanian Settlement in Jericho. Following the conversations conducted in a spirit of fraternity and mutual respect, an agreement was reached regarding the Romanian Settlement in Jericho, considered to be a house for the Romanian Orthodox pilgrims visiting the Holy Land. The two delegations have drafted together a document that has received the blessing of His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem and His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of Romania, whereby brotherly Eucharistic communion between the two Churches was restored
