Patriarch Porfirije Luncheon with the Poor and the Needy on Christmas Day

Belgrade-Serbia: Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia had a Christmas lunch with the poor and needy of Belgrade on Christmas day (7/1/2022). The lunch was organised under the Religious Charitable Guardianship of the Archbishopric of Belgrade and Karlovac.

On the occasion, the Patriarch commented that “the joy of Christmas calls for communion, love, and also for the readiness to more diligently follow the gospel principles”.

Christmas gifts on behalf of the Serbian Patriarch were distributed as well. Bishop of Hvostan, the Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch, Presbyter Vladimir Markovic and other dignitaries attended the table of love.
