HIS HOLINESS ARAM I APPEALS FOR HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE AND CALLS FOR CHRISTIAN-MUSLIM CO-EXISTENCE

7/8/2012 His Holiness Aram I the Spiritual Head of the Armenian Orthodox Church, Catholicosate of Cilicia and a President of the Middle East Council of Churches, appealed to all Ecumenical and Humanitarian Organizations to speed up aid to the population in Syria. He also appealed to the Syrians to end violence and work towards the unity of the people and dialogue between Christians and Muslims. “WE MUST RESPOND TO THE HUMANITARIAN NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY IN SYRIA” HIS HOLINESS ARAM I His Holiness Aram I has once again called upon the Armenian community in Syria to stay unified under these difficult circumstances, as the community in Lebanon has done in difficult times.
