Archimandrite Hilarion (Lupulović) Consecrated Bishop of Novobrd – Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch

Belgrade-Serbia: Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia consecrated Archimandrite Hilarion (Lupulović) as the Bishop of Novobrd and the Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch on November 20th, 2022 at the Cathedral of Saint Sava in Belgrade.

The consecration was attended by members of the Serbian holy synod, religious leaders, and faithfuls.

Archimandrite Hilarion was born as Rastko Lupulović on October 16, 1974 in Belgrade, to Ilija and Danica. Bishop Hilarion was elected as vicar of the Serbian Patriarch with the title of Bishop of Novobrd at the Assembly of Bishops that was held in May 2022.
