ANNOUNCEMENT: Semestral Pastoral-Missionary Conferences In The Archdiocese Of Bucharest

8/6/2011 The Press Office of the Romanian Patriarchate informs us: From 8 – 9 June 2011, the spring semestral pastoral-missionary conferences will take place in the Archdiocese of Bucharest, with the theme: “2011 – Homage Year of the Holy Baptism and of the Holy Wedding in the Romanian Patriarchate”. According to the decisions of the Holy Synod, the following sub-themes will be treated within these pastoral-missionary conferences: - Service of the Holy Sacrament of Baptism – theological existential significance; - Sacrament of the Wedding in the patristic and contemporary theology and - Non-Orthodox practices concerning the celebration of the Baptism and of the Wedding.
