Fr. Thomas Geevarghese Laid to Rest

Thiruvalla – Kerala: Amidst both sorrow and the hope of resurrection, the final rest of Reverend Father Thomas Geevarghese took place on October 10, 2025, at the St. George Orthodox Church, Palikara, Thiruvalla.

Father Geevarghese entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The funeral rites were conducted under the leadership of several Metropolitans of the Church, attended by a large gathering of clergy and faithful. The solemn event was marked by deep reverence, with the funeral being described as a “true witness to a monk father who fully dedicated for the church.”

In a final tribute, the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society (OCP) conveyed a message of condolence by executive committee member Linto Jacob Paul. Present and former executive committee members of the OCP joined the faithful in laying their last respects to the departed father.
